Oh Oh Barcelona, if I could name any city to live within the European boarders it would be Barcelona for sure. This city has it all for me, good weather, nice people, a vivid atmosphere and ofcourse A BEACH. Perfect for me!

This city is alive and at the same time super relaxed. You can tell that it is either the mañana mañana spirit or just that beachy relaxing vibe that is going on here.

The best way to get to know a city in a few hours is to join a free walking tour or get on the hop on hop off bus that will take you on a tour through the city. This is an easy way to pass by all the tourist attractions on 1 route. Jump off the bus whenever you want and stop by the things you want to see from a closer look and get back on the next bus and continue your route.

What you definitely cannot miss in this city is the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell and for the sportslovers; the FC Barcelona’s Camp Nou. The Sagrada Familia is the largest unfinished Roman Catholic church in the world. As you walk by the structure you will see it being surrounded by scaffolding. To enter the church you will have to joint a long line so that is something to consider whenever you’re there.

To visit Park Guell we took a local bus and walked up the hill for a bit since this was a cheaper option than taking a day tour. Park Guell is also a very crowded place but definitely worth seeing. The place is enchanting with it’s strange yet natural shapes and forms. It’s lovely to walk around for a few hours and sit down and stretch while people watching with the sun warming up your face.

A visit to Camp Nou will make you feel like you have just visited the greatest religious place for football lovers. This place was amazing, everything breathes FC Barcelona in there. It is obvious that this is the city’s pride. To see all the great names and faces that have played and are still playing for this club really draws you into the sport and makes you wanna buy a Barcelona shirt.

A perfect way to end your day in this city is taking a stroll over the famous La Rambla where you'll find the beach at the end. Mostly the city is perfect to roam around the streets and La Rambla in either day- or nighttime. The city is crowded and can be filled with heaps of tourists but if you get into the tiny little streets you might find hidden gems and that true relaxed vibe that lays over Barcelona.
